Serial Controller for ATEM

The Serial Controller for ATEM is not designed to replace an ATEM or other 3rd party control panel, but to allow alternate control in the case of network failure etc.
It can also be used as a low priced MAIN control panel, but with limited functionality due to the simple interface provided by the ATEM and the communications protocol used with the GVG serial interface.

Currently the functions available are:

·        Program selection/reading of BLACK, Inputs 1 to 8 and COLOR 1

·        Preview selection/reading of BLACK, Inputs 1 to 8 and COLOR 1

·        Keyer 1/2 selection/reading of BLACK, Inputs 1 to 8 and COLOR 1

·        DSK 1 selection of BLACK, Inputs 1 to 8 and COLOR 1

·        Transition activation of CUT and AUTO TRANS

·        Setting RATE of AUTO TRANSITION

·        Transition activation of DSK CUT and DSK TRANS

·        Setting RATE of DSK TRANSITION

·        Transition activation of KEYER 1/2 CUT

·        Transition activation of FADE TO BLACK

·        Setting RATE of FADE TO BLACK TRANSITION

·        Selecting TRANSITION STYLE to MIX or WIPE

·        Selecting WIPE PATTERN

·        Manually controlling the transition

·        Various adjustments of selected KEYER settings

As functions are added or discovered they will be added to the list. Free software updates will be sent to registered users.

The Key caps are removable so you can change their labels as required. An Excel Spreadsheet is available on request. A USB cable is supplied with every unit to allow powering from a USB power source like a phone charger and a power source also includes a standard USB2 port of a computer.

There are various versions of the Serial Controller for ATEM from the very BASIC  to the DELUXE and to the fully optioned ULTRA.

All models include 10 program buttons and LEDs, 10 preview buttons and LEDs, a CUT button and LED, an AUTO TRANS button and LEDs and a T-Bar for manual transitions. There is also a SHIFT button on the side along with a LED brightness adjustment and a RESET button.
The LED brightness can also be adjusted in software.
There is also the ability to set many operational parameters including SOURCE NAMES. Please read the USER GUIDE for more information.

DELUXE - $499
Includes all the BASIC features as well as the DSK, MIX and WIPE buttons, 10 Keyer buttons/LEDs and BKGD and KEY buttons.
Optional TALLY connector add $60

 


ULTRA - $599
Includes all the BASIC and DELUXE features as well as the DISPLAY UNIT (built in)

*As there is no tally data available from the ATEM Serial Connector the tally data is derived from source settings of the ATEM. This allows for basic tally, but more advanced settings of the ATEM that are excluded from the serial data will not be available.
